Microsoft confirmed that
current Windows smartphones won't be upgradeable to Windows Phone 8.
However, a number of its features will be included in the Windows Phone 7.8
update which Nokia have now confirmed is coming to the Lumia 900.
This information has originated from Nokia's US Twitter
page, but we presume the update will come to the Nokia Lumia 900 in the UK when
the smartphone finally becomes available. The only information currently
confirmed about the Windows Phone 7.8 update is that it'll bring support for
the "New Start Screen" featured on Windows Phone 8.The new Start
Screen which now uses the whole width of the Lumia 900's display which leaves
more space for tiles. Infact, you can now add tiles in new sizes with both
larger and smaller tiles now available meaning you can get the layout you
always wanted.
3G are hoping to review Nokia's flagship Windows smartphone very
soon so keep posted !
